The Europe Sustainable Development Report 2020 is the second edition of our independent quantitative report on the progress of the European Union and its member states towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This edition has a special focus on how we can use the SDGs to guide the economic and societal recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The report assesses the progress of 32 countries on the SDGs: EU member states, EFTA countries, and the UK. This year, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark top the rankings. In addition to overall scores, we also feature a special spillover index and Leave-No-One-Behind index.
